Media Registration Information for 2011 Lake Malaren Shanghai Masters
The 2011 Lake Malaren Shanghai Masters (LMSM) will take place between Oct 24th and 30th 2011 at the Lake Malaren Golf Club. All media attending the tournament are advised to review the following information.

How to apply for your Media Pass
To register for a media pass and attend the LMSM 2011, all media personnel must submit full contact information to Joyce_Shi@redflycommunications.com before Oct 15th, 2011. Required contact information includes:
- Company name
- Journalist name
- Gender
- Cell phone number
- Email address
- Please indicate if you are a photographer
Application for aMedia Pass must be completed on the official website of the tournament prior to Oct 15th, 2011.
We will reply to each application as soon as possible upon receipt. Approved applications will be notified via a confirmation letter (notification) and invitation will be sent to the accepted media. Registered journalists/photographers may then pick up their Media Pass at the onsite Media Center.
The Media Pass is the only accepted access pass to the tournament for members of the media. Photographers are required to submit a special application. The Organizing Committee will provide uniform vests for pre-approved photographers.
Journalists must use their Media Passes properly during the course of the tournament. Any violation of the rules of usage may result in removal from the tournament and surrender of the Media Pass.

Special Notes
A. General Requirements:
- For exclusive interviews, journalists shall consult and make reservations ahead of time with the Principal of the Press Center.
- Please wear collared T-shirts or long-sleeved shirts. Jeans and high-heels are prohibited on the course.
- Please familiarize yourself with the players' schedule and the itinerary map of the course, which will be available at the entrance. This will help you to organize your time and gain prior knowledge of which players are on each hole at any given time.
- Please do not make unnecessary noise or run around on the course, especially when "Quiet" signs are present and on display.
- No organizations or individuals other than the authorized photographers are permitted to carry and use cameras on the course. The flashes and noises may distract the players and lead to misplay.
- For the same reason, please turn off cell phones, pagers and other electronic communication devices when on the course.
- Please stand behind the safety cordon at all times.
- Do not ask for autographs or photos with players until they have finished all 18 holes and have submitted their scorecards.
- Please keep the course clean and throw beverage and food packages, cigarette butts and other waste into marked receptacles only.
B. Special Requirements for Photographers
Photographers are expected to adhere to the following rules. This will ensure that players can play to a high level performance whilst also guarantying all media personnel are safe and high quality photos can be produced.
- Only photographers authorized by the Media Center with special passes have access to the areas inside the safety cordons. Photographers can only move within an extension of an arm's length from the cordon. In no circumstance can photographers enter the tee area, the green or the fairway.
- Photographers shall not disturb the telecast cameras and staff when taking their pictures inside the safety cordon. Photographers must stand a minimum of 10 yards from the above-mentioned cameras on the course at all times.
- Photographers shall not take photos when players are preparing to hit their shot or putts. Please wait until each shot or putt is completed.
- Photographers shall not stand in a position that will affect the players' performance or obstruct their view. If any player or his caddie asks the photographer to leave his shooting position, the photographer must immediately comply.
- Carts shall be driven slowly and must remain on the cart path at all times.
- Please use cameras equipped with mute functions to avoid loud noises that can be made by the shutter.
